Our business

Our company, Twende, an on-demand platform and Africa’s first superapp, offers motorcycles (bodabodas) and tricycles (tuktuks), on installment, lease to own, hire purchase model, over 2 years.

Our mission

Twende® mission is to embed itself in every moment of the user's daily life, from waking up, till sleeping, all times, all places.

Our goal

Our goal is create 1 million jobs for youth in Zambia by end of 2021, one job at a time, by giving them bodabodas, scooters, cars, and tuktuks, on installment paid over 2 years. We seek to be in all african countries by 2023, and to be a listed entity by 2025 in LUSE by 2025.

Our model

The company offers tuktuks, bodabodas, to youth in Africa, as a way to provide them with self-employment. They pay a downpayment, and pay balance within 24 months, on daily or weekly installments.

Corporate governance

The company has a board of directors, with ceo and company secretary (lawyer) sitting as ex officio members, as well as policies for operations.
